Office food

Since discovering the 44th Floor, I have become a bit of a salad convert. Fresh salads anyway you want them with an included protein + 4 topping minimum. Today, lunch for me was the following:

1. Spinach
2. Seared Tofu
3. Carrots
4. Kalamata Olives (pitted)
5. Feta cheese
6. Artichoke hearts
7. +1 dried topping, cashews
8. a side of balsamic vinaigrette.

Dressing as always, on the side, because who really likes their leafy greens soaked in liquid? What is even better is the salad bar offers whole salads and half salads. Half salad $3.51. Perfection in a perfectly sized portion.

Dinner: Portobello mushroom pizza with blue cheese and mozzarella, a pale ale, a pilsner, (http://www.dockstreetbeer.com) and 3 chapters of Anthony Bourdain’s “Kitchen Confidential”. Also perfection but let’s not talk about the size of that portion.
